The Club runs regular schooling sessions for members for both flatwork and show jumping. During the spring/summer we also hold cross country schooling sessions. BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DETAILS PRINTED IN THE NEWSLETTER AND AS SET OUT BELOW. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE OF THE SESSION UNLESS OTHERWISE ARRANGED. IF YOU DO HAVE TO CANCEL YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO PAY UNLESS YOUR PLACE CAN BE FILLED BY ANYONE ELSE. ALTHOUGH THIS MAY SEEM UNFAIR, IT IS NOT FAIR FOR OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY WITHOUT SUFFICIENT NOTICE. SCHOOLING SESSIONSRegular Sessions are held with:
DEBBIE CARPENTER - FLATWORK & DRESSAGE TEST LESSONS at MALTHOUSE CENTRE, STEVENTON July 4th & 18th August 1st, 15th & 29th ½ hour Private Lesson £22.50 Debbie is a list 5 dressage judge and trains regularly with Carl Hester on her young horse which has qualified for the Novice Regional BD in its first 4 outings. Debbie has also competed up to Advanced Level on her old horse. Debbie will teach from novices to more experienced horses and riders. These lessons are very popular and Debbie has her regulars so we may be able to run some extra dates on demand. Please feel free to give me a call and I’ll try and fit everyone in. Email whites@3laurel.fsnet.co.uk KEVIN HICKS - FLATWORK OR SHOW JUMPING LESSONS - BLEWBURY CENTRE Friday MORNINGS and EVENINGS **NOW EVERY FRIDAY TO COPE WITH DEMAND** DAYTIME AND EVENING SESSIONS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR DATES LISTED BELOW. Kevin is available to teach flatwork and jumping at Blewbury Centre. His lessons have, until now, taken place every second Friday morning but due to popular demand he will be teaching on the same evening that he teaches in the morning. For those of you who don’t know him, Kevin is a very experienced Instructor who has his BHS I. He trained with Pammy Hutton, has competed at Advanced Level Dressage and Intermediate Level Eventing and has trained National Level Dressage riders and International level Event riders. Recently a Riding Club member described him as having “added 10% to her Dressage score”. All the people he teaches at present are having private lessons but he will teach group lessons if that is preferred. A ½ hour private lesson can be booked for £25 per person or a 45 minute lesson is £37.50. The dates booked so far are: July 4th and 18th August 1st, 15th and 29th September 12th and 26th These sessions will be held inside. Please contact Laura Rai on 01865 864173 or 07958298758 MAUREEN JONES - SHOW JUMPING Maureen is an experienced instructor and is very good at assessing both horse and rider’s ability. Maureen will not expect you to jump anything you do not feel happy about, but you may be surprised how you can build up your confidence through the session by watching others and enjoying yourself. SHOW JUMPING LESSONS at BLEWBURY CENTRE, DIDCOT Maureen Jones’ popular jumping lessons continue every second Wednesday morning at Blewbury Centre. A full course of jumps are available to train and practice over if required, however, sessions can be tailored to individual needs from trotting poles upwards. Maureen will accept a maximum of three people per hour group. The cost per session is therefore £18 per person per hour for 3 people and £26 per person per hour for 2 people. Sessions usually run between 10am and 1pm. The dates booked so far are: July 2nd, 16th and 30th August 13th and 27th September 10th and 24th These sessions will be held inside. There will be no more than 4 in a group.
