IF YOU’RE NOT SURE ABOUT WHICH ONES TO TRY, JUST CALL THE ORGANISER (NO TELEPHONE CALLS AFTER 9PM PLEASE). THEY WILL BE ABLE TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT AND HELP YOU DECIDE IF IT’S RIGHT FOR YOU. THEN, YOU NEED TO SEND THEM A CHEQUE FOR THAT AMOUNT, MADE OUT TO BDRC, WHICH WILL GUARANTEE YOUR PLACE ON THE LESSON, WHICH CAN’T BE HELD UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. IF YOU CAN’T SEND A CHEQUE, YOU SHOULD ARRANGE CASH PAYMENT OR INTERNET TRANSFER WITH THE ORGANISER.
SIMPLE, ISN’T IT! BUT HERE’S THE TRICKY BIT. IF YOU FIND THAT YOU CAN’T MAKE IT TO THE LESSON YOU SHOULD LET THE ORGANISER KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (AND NOT HALF AN HOUR BEFORE THE LESSON!) IF THEY HAVE A WAITING LIST, OR THEY HAVE TIME TO FIND SOMEONE TO FILL YOUR PLACE, YOU WON’T HAVE TO PAY A THING. HOWEVER, IF YOU DON’T GIVE US ENOUGH NOTICE, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY. AND IF YOU BOOK A TRAINING SESSION, DON’T PAY AND THEN JUST DON’T TURN UP, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BOOK OR ENTER ANYTHING ELSE UNTIL YOU’VE PAID WHAT YOU OWE.

Debbie is a list 5 dressage judge and trains regularly with Carl Hester on her young horse which has qualified for the Novice Regional BD in first 4 outings; Debbie has also competed up to Advanced Level on her old horse. Debbie will teach from novices to more experienced horses and riders.

FLATWORK WITH JODIE LISTER
ENBORNE EQUESTRIAN CENTRE (FORMERLY HAMPSTEAD GROWERS), HAMPSTEAD MARSHALL, NR. NEWBURY.
PLEASE NOTE THAT HAMSTEAD GROWERS HAS NOW BEEN SOLD AND THE PREVIOUS OWNERS ARE KEEPING THE NAME. IT WILL NOW BE KNOWN AS ENBORNE EQUESTRIAN CENTRE. THE NEW OWNER HAS LOTS OF PLANS FOR THE VENUE AND IS ALREADY MAKING IMPROVEMENTS.
There is no indoor school but the outdoor facilities are very good.
Jodie rides at Grand Prix level and is based at her own livery and training yard near Ringwood in Hampshire after leaving Catherston Stud where she worked for and trained with Jennie Loriston-Clarke for many years. She competed at Olympia in 2008 with her horse Nicky who she began competing as a 4 year old and has trained to Grand Prix level. As well as competing successfully at this level and bringing on her younger horses, also with great success, Jodie teaches around the country and the Channel Islands. She even manages to sleep sometimes.
The sessions usually run from 2.00pm and are individual 45 minute sessions. Through the late spring and summer we hope to be able to continue the sessions to later in the evening and will also be arranging some weekend sessions for those of you that may not be able to attend during the week.

FUN JUMPING WITH MAUREEN JONES

Maureen needs no introduction and these sessions are aimed at members who wish to enjoy their horses and have some fun with other like minded riders, as well as those who are more competition focused.
Maureen is extremely good at assessing both horse and rider and will not expect you to jump anything you do not feel happy about. These sessions will be very much based on building confidence by using the encouragement of the other riders and keeping the whole session fun, not about who can jump biggest or fastest!
4 riders per hour, £14 each
3 sharing an hour £18.50 each
2 sharing 45 minutes £22.50 each
Individual 30 minutes also available at £25.00
Indoor Show Jumping starts up again on January 15th and continues fortnightly, so it is likely that these sessions will be on the Saturdays before the show jumping competitions.
